Alpha Chi Omega acknowledges that Greek Life has financial barriers that prevent people from becoming members, so we do our best to provide scholarships to alleviate the costs of dues, tuition, and other financial burdens our members may be facing.

Chapter Scholarships

As of Spring Quarter 2021: Two $100 merit-based scholarships and two $100 needs-based scholarships offered every quarter. Requires the completion of an application with a few short answer questions. Open to all active members of the chapter; needs-based scholarship recipients can apply the following quarter, but merit-based scholarship recipients must wait a quarter to apply again.

National scholarships

For the 2020-2021 year, the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation awarded more than $240,000 in scholarships to collegiate and alumnae members nationwide. Every spring, Nationals has scholarships for both merit and need. Those applications open in January and close in March. Nationals also has educational assistance grants every fall (app opens in October, (https://www.alphachiomega.org/axo-foundation/scholarships-grants/educational-assistance-grants/ ). Lastly, Nationals has Member Assistance Grants, which are specifically for girls who are in a financial bind due to life changing circumstances. Applications are continuous so you can apply at any time. (https://www.alphachiomega.org/axo-foundation/scholarships-grants/member-assistance-grants/)
