Alpha Chi Omega is a national women’s organization that enriches the lives of its collegiate and alumnae members through lifetime opportunities of friendship, leadership, and service. Our founders established Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity in 1885 at DePauw University in Indiana. We represent our founders' beliefs that we would be the "first and last" musical sorority through our symbol and badge of the lyre. While we are no longer a musical organization, we continue to motivate young women to strive to make a difference in friendships, campus, and the community. In 1986, the Theta Pi chapter of Alpha Chi Omega was founded at the University of California, Davis and we are proud to continue this long standing legacy today.
